PageSpeed.ONE Tester: What’s New in Version 3.0
As some of you may have noticed, the PageSpeed.ONE website has donned a new look, and alongside, we are gradually launching the third version of our web speed tester.
What are the key changes in the new version?
- The ability to register and log in, unlocking new possibilities such as adjusting test settings.
- We’ve also added teams, allowing you to monitor your websites' speed with colleagues.
- A dashboard where you can track the speed of any number of domains.
- We now collect and display speed data not just for mobile but also newly for desktop.
The third version is now in beta testing and has moved to this URL: https://app.pagespeed.cz/
Let's take a closer look at the new features we've added to the tester.
User Accounts and Teams
Improving and monitoring speed is a team effort, so we've added the ability to log in with your own account. This has led to the creation of teams and the ability to add colleagues who can then see the same speed data as you.

We also unlock new features for logged-in users, such as changing test settings, including the much-requested URL change, or setting up monthly report emails.

Dashboard for Tracking Domain Speeds
We understand that most of you are responsible for monitoring the speed of more than just one website, but an entire suite of domains. The dashboard allows you to track not only speed status but also reports changes compared to the previous period:

How do you add websites to the dashboard?
- Register or log in.
- Create a new test or use URLs of tests you've saved before.
- Once logged in, you'll see the option “Add to my tests” at the bottom of the test.
- After adding a test, we’ll create a copy for you to track in the dashboard:
It's good to know that the original test URL remains in place. We copy the test to a new address so you can modify your copy.
Data for Desktop and Mobile
You've often requested to see speed data not only for mobile devices but also for desktops in tests.
We’re happy to accommodate this, especially since Google now evaluates desktop as well in its Page Experience signals. Also, from our work with clients, we know that not every website has its speed metrics in check, especially when it comes to Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
Now you simply need to switch. This is available to both logged-in and non-logged-in users.

New Design
The identity of PageSpeed.ONE, along with the website and speed tester, has undergone a redesign featuring more pronounced typography and better communication of data in the tester.
We were assisted in the new design by Petr Ondrusz, thank you! The third version of the tester was also developed by Zuzana Šumlanská, Martin Brychta, Michal Matuška, Tomáš Hejč from SUPERKODERS, and Martin Michálek.
Speed Tester Remains Free
Despite all the improvements, we are keeping the speed tester free for everyone who, like us, knows that speed matters. We will, of course, continue to work on further enhancements.
