Billing and Monitoring Subscription
Paid speed monitoring is charged via Stripe using your card. You can choose between monthly or yearly subscriptions, which renew automatically, and find invoices both in your team profile and on Stripe.
Initially, you can set up a 30-day trial version without a credit card. Transitioning to a paid plan is done in Subscription settings in the team.
Who Sees the Billing and Who Pays
The Billing tab in the team profile is visible only to the team owner. Editors or team members cannot access it – the team owner (or an administrator, if the team doesn't yet have its own billing) initiates the payment for the team.
You can identify the team owner among the team members: the role Owner is next to their name. If you need to change billing information or a card, it must be done by the team owner (or the owner of the main team in case of shared billing, see below).
In some situations, an administrator can initiate payment from the Subscription tab until the team has its own billing account. After the first successful payment, billing is managed by the team owner who completed the payment.
Where to Find Billing and Subscription
In the app, open the team → Settings or Members → Billing tab (/app/team/billing).
In the billing section, you can adjust billing information and the card (via the Stripe Customer Portal), download invoices, and see any payment notifications.
You can change the plan, add-ons, and period (monthly/yearly) in Subscription settings in the team. The Subscription link from billing will redirect you there.
START and PLUS Plans
In the Subscription tab, you select a plan for each monitored website (test suite):
- START – basic monitoring.
- PLUS – full version including Watchdog, notifications, and all reports.
Indicative prices for the PLUS plan: annually excluding VAT, or monthly per website. START plan: annually, or monthly.
Additional charges for extra URLs or domains and the current total for the entire team can always be seen in the Subscription tab – prices are drawn from the live catalog in the app. Volume discounts for agencies are negotiated individually. An overview of the principles is in the pricing list.
The billing period (monthly or yearly) applies to the entire team at once. When changing the plan or add-ons, the page will show how much you will pay immediately (prorate) and how much from the next period.
Card Payment and Invoices
The first payment or a new card is entered in Stripe Checkout from the Subscription tab. You can then change the saved card in the billing details (Stripe Customer Portal).
The subscription renews automatically based on the chosen period. Invoices are issued by Stripe – you can download them as PDFs from your team profile or open the hosted link.
During an active trial version, the Subscription page will notify you that the paid plan will start only after the trial ends, not immediately upon entering the card.
Shared Billing for Agencies
Agencies often monitor dozens of websites in separate teams (client = team). Instead of using ten cards, you can connect multiple teams to one primary team, which pays for subscriptions for all.
When creating a test or in the Subscription tab, you choose whether the team pays on its own or if you want it covered by an existing billing entity (another team where you already have a card). The default is separate payment; sharing is a conscious choice.
The owner of a connected team will see on the billing that the card is managed by the main team. If they also have access to the main team, the Billing tab will switch them to the parent billing.
Later, the owner of the connected team can choose to Separate and pay independently – the period will run out with the main team, and from the next period, the team pays on its own. More context for agencies is in the help for development agencies.
