Version 4.15: Stripe Payment Gateway, Monthly Payments, and Generous Trial
Paying for a tool should be the least exciting part of using it. With release 4.15, you can now pay for speed monitoring yourself, with a card, anytime, without waiting for our invoice. We've added monthly subscriptions and a trial version that covers your entire team.
It wasn't as fast as it looks in the picture, but we finally have a fully automated payment system.
A New Way to Pay, Monthly Subscriptions, and a Generous Trial
Thanks to the implementation of the Stripe payment system, you can now pay for speed monitoring yourself. The team owner opens Subscription in the team settings, selects the test suite plans, the period (monthly or annually), and completes the payment via the Stripe Checkout.
The price is visible in the app. After payment, the subscription renews automatically, and invoices can be downloaded from the Billing tab, just as you're used to with other software services. See the Billing and Subscription help for more information.
You now also have the option to choose monthly payments, not just annual ones.
The trial version is no longer tied to a single monitoring setup but covers the entire team. Within 30 days, you can create multiple test suites for multiple websites, all sharing the same trial period.
Add-ons (more frequent measurements throughout the day, more URLs, more domains, or ad hoc tests) can now be enabled directly in the monitoring. More about add-ons and prices can be found in the price list.
Prices and invoices are available in both Czech korunas and euros, depending on where the payment is made.
Terms and Conditions
Due to the use of credit cards and recurring charges, we have updated the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
What's New on the Website
Beyond the application, we've also worked on the website:
- The PageSpeed Awards 2026 are kicking off, including the first preliminary results.
- The homepage now includes a section about who is behind the tool and what we do.
- Insights, our web speed test, now has its own landing page.
- We continue to develop a new visual language of illustrations.
And More
- We fine-tuned new onboarding emails.
- We adjusted messages and statuses in tests where data has not yet arrived or the trial has ended.
- The Watchdog displays imperfect data just like synthetic tests.
- Tests with only synthetic data and no Chrome UX Report data are now more clearly presented.
- By popular demand, icons explaining what each metric means have returned to the metric tables.
- Visual fixes: underlining links in Firefox, overflowing sidebar, and monthly charts.
What We're Working On
- Connector to Looker Studio: bringing monitoring data to where you already report.
- Major update to onboarding and test statuses.
- Supplementing Stripe emails and minor details after the payment launch.
In Case You Missed It
- Version 4.14: histogram in Domains, more sensitive Watchdog, continuation of FREE phase-out, Spanish and German.
- Version 4.13: public API, new navigation in the app, timeline for the end of FREE.
We hope that card payments directly in the app save you waiting time and keep your monitoring running smoothly without unnecessary obstacles.
