Monitoring 4.9: More Data from Chrome UX Report

Data from the CrUX (Chrome UX Report) are one of the cornerstones of our monitoring. Until now, in the Domain Report, you mainly saw Core Web Vitals and a few additional metrics. However, from version 4.9, we are adding another set of data to help you quickly identify issues and make better decisions about optimization priorities.

We've added new data to help you optimize your website's performance.

More CrUX Data in PageSpeed.ONE Monitoring#

We have added additional reports from the excellent data of the Chrome UX Report, which are collected directly from Google Chrome users.

Server-to-User Latency (RTT)#

Curious whether your website is slowed down by the server or rather the network between it and the user? RTT reveals how “far” your visitors are from a network perspective and when it's wise to consider a CDN.

Device Types (Form Factor)#

You'll see the types of devices people most frequently use to visit—mobile, tablet, or desktop. This helps you easily determine for whom it's most beneficial to optimize speed first. Check out the Form Factor report.

Is it more crucial to optimize for mobile or desktop? And what about tablets?

LCP Resource Type#

Is your LCP the largest image or text? Thanks to the new report on resource types, you'll immediately know whether to dive into image optimization or focus more on web fonts and text rendering.

LCP Image Subparts Delays#

For images that constitute LCP, you'll now precisely see what's causing the delay: server, downloading, or rendering. This allows you to target the part with the greatest impact.

Additionally, we've added the following to the help, app, or website:

• Published a new text on Cloudflare in the help section.
• Changing the name from PageSpeed.CZ to PageSpeed.ONE everywhere.
• Fixed the non-functional newsletter unsubscribe.
• Watchdog notifications: fixed a rounding error.
• Notification bar: fixed an issue with closing it.
• Chat: reinstated it in the app and added it to other parts of the website.
